We are currently seeking expression of interest applications from local candidates who reside in Bunbury area. We are looking to engage candidates who display superior teamwork skills, flexibility, a higher level of safety awareness and excellent customer service skills. About the role:

• Undertake the theoretical and practical components of the training program.
• Ensure that the loading and unloading of customer's products are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Inspect rollingstock for faults.
• Rectify minor faults on rollingstock.
• Conduct brake testing of trains.
• Effectively communicate with other depot personnel face to face and via two-way radio.
• Undertake shunting and marshalling of trains.

 About you: 

• C Class Drivers Licence (mandatory).
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• A willingness to work day & night shift (up to 12-hr shifts) and including weekend work as required.

As a part of the company's recruitment and selection process, shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake psychometric testing, criminal history check and successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment that will involve drug and alcohol screening.
