Location: Sarina & Rockhampton
We are currently seeking Rail Infrastructure Worker L3 to join the Aurizon Mechanised Production, Ballast Cleaning Operations team. You will primarily be responsible for performing on-track maintenance activities, record keeping, assisting tradespeople and operating On-Track Machinery.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Facilitate and contribute to our safety and environmental performance targets through active participation in safe working behaviours
- Undertake infrastructure track maintenance to specified plans
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the development of new work practices
- Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
About you:
- Certificate III Rail Infrastructure
- RM902 Track Machine knowledge (Highly regarded)
- ‘C' Class Driver Licence (Mandatory)
- HR Class Driver Licence or higher - (preferred)
- Knowledge of track maintenance, inspection standards, systems and processes
- Ability to work away from home on a varying roster consisting of rosters such as 10 on 4 off, 8 on 6 off which is not always consistent
In order to be successful in this role you need to complete testing, a medical, reference checks and hold a C-Class QLD Manual drivers’ licence.
These are residential positions. FIFO will not be considered due to our fatigue management policies.
