Due to increasing demand by our customers, Aurizon’s Kalgoorlie team is looking to hire a safety focused Reach Stacker Operator in a permanent position working an 8&6 Day Shift Only Roster.
About the role:
- Load and unload freight in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing trains and trucks to ensure that loading is secure.
- Perform general terminal duties as directed including computer work & servicing of equipment.
- Ensure the maintenance of lifting equipment is in accordance with safety guidelines.
About you:
- Current forklift ticket (mandatory).
- Current unrestricted C class Driver’s license.
- Experience in operations environment will be highly regarded.
- CN & Dangerous Good licence would be highly regarded, but not mandatory (training can be provided).
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
